💥i started to see fat loss results when ….👀👀
❌stopped restricting
❌labelling food
âś…fuel my body correctly
When it comes to weight loss, many of us have been conditioned to believe that certain foods are “good” and others are “bad.”
We’ve been told to 👇🏼
👉🏻eat more fruit and veg
👉🏻avoid processed foods
👉🏻avoid sugar and carbs.
While there’s some truth to these guidelines, the problem is that labeling food as “good” or “bad” can create a problematic relationship with food that can hinder our weight loss goals.
The truth is, labelling food as “healthy” or “unhealthy” doesn’t necessarily mean we’ll see weight loss results. Sure, eating more fruits and vegetables and cutting back on processed foods can help us feel better overall, but if we’re still consuming more calories than we’re burning, we won’t see any fat loss.
Often This labelling can actually work against us. When we label certain foods as “bad,” it can create a sense of guilt or shame when we do indulge in them……and this can be a very big problem ! This behavior normally leads to overeating and turn on the “ fu** it mentality”
This can lead to a cycle of restrict-binge-guilt, leads to overeating and turn on the “ fu** it mentality”
So, how do we navigate the world of food labeling without hindering our weight loss goals?
The key is to focus on balance and moderation
. Instead of labeling foods as “good” or “bad,” try to think of them as part of a larger overall diet. Aim for a balanced diet that includes plenty of fruits, vegetables, whole grains, lean protein, and healthy fats, but also allows for the occasional indulgence.
It’s also important to pay attention to portion sizes. Just because a food is considered “healthy” doesn’t mean we can eat unlimited amounts of it. Similarly, just because a food is considered “unhealthy” doesn’t mean we can’t enjoy it in moderation.
