Here’s why 👇
You might be feeling bloated or constipated :
1️⃣ You have increased your protein intake too quickly . Say you went from having 30-40g per day to having 100g per day.Your body will do something about it right? So gradually increase your protein intake over the week.
2️⃣ Not all protein is created equal. If you’re eating more protein from bars, powders, or a lot of dairy and feeling very bloated after meals, try switching to whole-food protein sources.
3️⃣ You increased your protein intake but not enough fiber, make sure to eat apples, broccoli, Brussels sprouts, pears, oranges, and sweet potatoes.
4️⃣ You’re not drinking enough water. Your body needs more water to process protein, so drinking more water is important when you eat more protein.
Your health and fitness goals depend on many factors, so working with a coach is better than following online trends. You need protein, but also fats, carbs, fiber, and vitamins. You should also focus on exercise, drinking enough water, getting enough rest, and managing stress.
